At The Birthday Box Co, food safety is one of our highest priorities. We are proud to have been awarded a 5★ Food Hygiene Rating, giving you confidence that your order is prepared and packaged to the highest hygiene standards.

Food Hygiene

All confectionery is handled in a clean, hygienic environment using safe food handling practices. We follow strict procedures throughout the preparation and packaging process, including:

  • Regular hand washing and good personal hygiene.

  • Thorough cleaning and sanitising of all work surfaces, equipment and utensils before and after use.

  • Safe storage of confectionery to maintain quality and freshness.

  • Careful handling and packaging to minimise contamination.

  • Use of food-safe packaging suitable for confectionery products.

  • Regular monitoring of hygiene procedures in line with current food safety guidance.

Ingredients

Ingredient information is available upon request before ordering and can also be supplied with your order where appropriate. As manufacturers occasionally change recipes without notice, ingredient lists may vary from time to time. We therefore recommend checking the information supplied with your order before consumption.
 

Allergen Information

Many sweets contain, or may contain, allergens. We strongly recommend that customers carefully read all ingredient and allergen information provided before consuming any products.

The Birthday Box Co. relies on information supplied by the original manufacturers and suppliers of the confectionery. Where available, allergen and ingredient information is provided with your order or upon request before purchase.

Common allergens that may be present in confectionery include (but are not limited to):

  • Milk

  • Soya

  • Wheat (Gluten)

  • Peanuts

  • Tree Nuts

  • Eggs

  • Gelatine

  • Sulphites

Please note that this list is not exhaustive, and allergens vary depending on the sweets you choose.

Cross Contamination

While we take every reasonable precaution to maintain high hygiene standards and minimise the risk of cross-contact, our products are prepared in an environment where a variety of confectionery containing different allergens is handled.

For this reason, we cannot guarantee that any product is completely free from traces of allergens.

If you or the recipient has a severe food allergy or intolerance, we recommend contacting us before placing your order so we can discuss the products you are considering. Customers with life-threatening allergies should carefully consider this information before purchasing.

Products may vary slightly from photographs due to supplier availability.
Sweet selections are subject to availability and may occasionally be substituted with a similar product of equal or greater value where necessary.
Colours, flavours and packaging of branded sweets may change without notice by the manufacturer.
Our products are not suitable for children under 3 years of age due to the risk of choking. Adult supervision is recommended for young children.
