The Real Behind-the-Scenes š

This photo pretty much sums up most of my evenings lately.
Laptop open. Canva on. TV on in the background. A hundred tabs open. A to-do list that keeps getting longer. And me, sat there thinking, āHow on earth?ā with a packet of custard creams and a brew.
Once the kids are in bed and the house finally goes quiet, this is when the real work starts. Answering messages, designing new bits, checking orders, planning stock, tweaking things for the hundredth time because I want everything to be just right. Itās not glamorous ā itās usually in mismatched pyjamas with that same brew that I have 100% forgotten about for an hourā but itās mine.
I started The Birthday Box Co. because I wanted to build something of my own while being there for my family. Something that helps other parents too, because I know how stressful party planning can be when youāre already stretched thin. Believe me, I get it. By the time I sit down, the day already feels like itās been three days long ā school runs, work, cooking tea, washing up, endless housework, sorting uniforms, finding missing shoes, answering āmumā for the thousandth time - you know the drillā¦Itās only once everything else is done that I finally get a minute to open the laptop and start on this.
Some days are hectic. Some days I question my sanity. Most days Iām surrounded by balloons, party bags, cardboard boxes, and glitter that will probably outlive me (and has killed a hoover but letās not get into that!) But every order, every message, every share reminds me why I started.
Youāre not just ākeeping me busy.ā Youāre keeping this little dream alive.
So honestly ā thank you. For supporting a small business run from a chaotic, busy, incredibly loving family home. For trusting me with your celebrations. For sticking with me while I grow, learn, and figure it all out as I go.
It means more than you probably realise š
You bring the cake⦠Iāve got the rest š
Lots of love,
Jazz x
